- Created and maintained robust internal tools built with Python, using Django, that increased analyst productivity and job satisfaction
- Piloted a continuing education program that included internal lectures and workshops that was responsive to management and developer feedback and questions
- Specialized in researching ongoing code problems, proposing solutions, and planning a good development approach
- Identified and mentored promising ‘non-technical’ employees as part of an internal training program to find people to join the development team, held study halls and gave lectures during their training period
- Connected promising Python community members with the team, which lead to five hires and a more diverse, engaged team
- Served as an on-call developer and as one of a handful of developers who could perform hotfixes and kept customers happy by ensuring that they get their deliverables and kept analyst team happy by being able to respond to their needs quickly
